This Place by The Sea

(Tekst: Ellen Marie Løkslid)

One rosy sunny day in July
They were dressed for summer’s party
Peter and Willie
Were feelin´ fine

Going to meet old friends
Glowing smiles just like last summer
Peter and Willie
Were feelin´ fine

This place by the sea
Drifting in harmony and melancholy
Each year playing a memory
Of summer days and jubilees

The party melted into sundown
Peter and Willie were inviting girls to dance as
Music floated up
Into a sky of balloons

Remembering their days of old
When strangers became friends
And friends girlfriends
Wishes ´came true, ties that bind ´came home

This place by the sea
Drifting among harmony and melancholy
Each year playing a memory
Of summer days and jubilees
